About Quivira Capital

Jim is a seasoned professional with extensive experience and knowledge in the financial services and insurance industries.  In 2008, he co-founded Quivira Capital to provide acquisition and growth capital, along with consulting services, to agencies, MGAs, and insurance companies. Prior to that, Jim had a successful career in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance sector, where he gained broad experience in marketing, operations, and finance for agencies, MGAs, and carriers. During his career, he has held several senior executive positions, including COO, President/COO, and Vice-Chairman of a mid-sized, multi-carrier insurance group. Jim holds the CPCU designation, a BS in accounting from the University of Missouri, and is also a Navy veteran.

Bill is a career property and casualty (P&C) insurance and financial executive.  He is a former CFO for two insurance companies and has been providing consulting and analysis to Quivira clients seeking financing for agency / book acquisitions, partner buyouts and working capital since Quivira’s founding.  He also provides loan servicing and collateral preservation services to Quivira’s lending institution clients.  In addition to his CPCU and ARe insurance professional designations, he holds a BS degree from the University of Kansas and an MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri.

Jeremey joined Quivira Capital in November 2009. He provides Quivira with legal consulting and support on all Client services. During his career he has provided legal counsel to small and mid-sized businesses specializing in transactional work, dispute resolution and regulatory matters with a focus on insurance.  Jeremey received his B.A. with a double major in Business Administration and Speech from Coe College and his J.D. from Washburn Law School.
